U-Wisconsin students hold fundraiser for LUPE

Back in December LUPE hosted a wonderful student group from the University of Wisconsin for a week long educational and service-oriented Alternate Winter Break program. These students were so moved by their experiences working in the Colonias and inspired by the social change work happening in the Valley, they created an online fundraising campaign to support LUPE’s work!

In doing so, they are the first student group to join LUPE’s Community of Conscience, which aims to develop community support and solidarity to push for lasting social change. Check out the video here:
